The infamous queen of the cosmos
She presides over the sacredness of marriage, she looks after wives and pregnant women.
Mothers pray to the Goddess during childbirth so that there are no complications or difficulties, women pray to her so that she would bless them with good health, and Wifes seek the goddess's aid in their rocky marriages
Her appearance
The Goddess is predicted as a gorgeous woman, noble, classy, elegant, and graceful. She has lushes curly hair. And what’s a queen without her crown, it’s accompanied by a veil, she also wears a long robe and carries a sceptre
Her sacred animal companion is the peacock, the cow, the lion, and the cuckoo bird
Hera's family
Her grandparents are Gaea and Ouranos, and her parents are Kronos and Rhea.
She has 5 siblings: HESTIA, DEMETER, HAIDES, POSEIDON, and ZEUS
When she was born, her father swallowed her whole, together with most of her siblings ( with the exception of Zeus) for fear that one of them would revoke. Kronos eventually threw up and released them from his belly which was a result of deception from Metis, and then Zeus defeated him and took his throne. Later, Zeus pursued Hera, and after a while, they got married
Her marriage to Zeus
In her courtship with Zeus, Hera gave birth to three children: Ares, Hebe, and Eileithuia. Ares is the god of war, Hebe is the goddess of youth, and finally, Eileithuia is the goddess of childbirth.
Just like her grandmother, Hera has the ability to generate her own child, and she gave birth to a son, Hephaestus, the god of metalworking
Hera's life was pretty good, her husband is the King of the Heavens and she is the queen, their children are powerful gods and goddesses, it doesn't get better than that. Actually, it didn’t.
Zeus and Hera have a lot of marital problems. The goddess of marriage has a husband who continuously commits adultery, you can only guess how humiliating it was for her. Each time Zeus had an affair, Hera found out and got mad, she would turn to the other woman, and punish her, and Zeus would repeat, and Hera would get mad. Their relationship is like a broken record. Though, it seems as though Hera and Zeus could never really leave each other.
